Drop in Client Loss
Increase in Website Speed
Boost in Operational Efficiency
Real-Time Reporting Restored
Overview
A leading pharmaceutical logistics company known for transporting sensitive medical products across regions was struggling to get reliable operational insights. An old customer portal, a recent ERP migration, and data mismatches across platforms made it difficult to track key metrics, serve clients quickly, or ensure compliance.
They turned to Cygnet. One to rebuild their data and reporting infrastructure. Using cloud-native technologies and automated ETL pipelines, the team created a central data warehouse, rebuilt the customer portal, and introduced interactive dashboards. The result: fast, reliable access to the numbers that matter, without the errors or confusion that previously plagued the system.
The Business Need
The client was growing, but its tech stack wasn’t keeping up. The issues were affecting both internal teams and external customers:
- Outdated portal technology limited scalability and created performance lags
- ERP migration had broken data flows and added friction to reporting
- Discrepancies between portal data and ERP records created confusion and distrust
- Teams were manually handling data pulls and transformations, adding risk and slowing response times
The company needed a complete rebuild, from portal to backend systems, to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and speed across its logistics operations.
Building a Scalable Data & Reporting Platform with Cygnet. One
The engagement started with a fresh customer portal, rebuilt using the latest Microsoft Azure tools. The new interface was fast, responsive, and easier for customers to navigate, dramatically reducing complaints and response delays.
In parallel, Cygnet. One designed a new enterprise data warehouse. This involved applying slow-changing dimensions to track historical changes accurately and maintain integrity over time, critical in a regulated industry like pharma.
Automated ETL pipelines were introduced to cleanly extract data from the new ERP system, transform it with C# scripts, and load it into the central warehouse using tools like Snowflake and BBT. This eliminated the manual, error-prone processes that had slowed down operations.
Finally, using Chart.js and other analytics tools, the team-built dashboards and self-service reports for different business units and customer types, ensuring access to the right insights, at the right time.

Driving Real Business Results
The new data platform wasn’t just a technology upgrade; it directly impacted on the bottom line. Client complaints dropped, response times improved, and leadership finally had a clear view into what was working, and what wasn’t.
A 15% drop in client loss was achieved, driven by better service and trust restored in reported figures. Website speed doubled, making the system more usable for customers and internal teams alike. Operational efficiency saw a 20% boost, thanks to reduced manual work and faster access to trustworthy insights.
With their data now clean, connected, and easy to act on, the company is ready to scale with confidence.
